Phone remote, tablet viewer
Create the room on your phone. Open Share and scan the viewer QR code with the tablet, or copy the viewer link into its browser. Keep the controller tab open. Paste a short test script, press play, and check the tablet before recording.
One script, several viewers
Open the same viewer link on another browser to add a confidence monitor for a speaker or a second display for the crew. Text and playback controls sync from the controller. A viewer link lets you read and scroll the shared text. Editing stays with the controller.
Mirror mode and camera placement
For a glass teleprompter, enable horizontal mirroring and check the reflected text. For a screen viewed directly, leave mirroring off. Increase text size as the display moves farther away, and keep lines narrow enough to avoid large eye movements.
What this setup does not do
AirPrompt needs an internet connection for cross-device sync. It does not follow your voice, record video, or act as a Bluetooth remote. Use your camera or meeting software separately. A TV needs a compatible browser or a computer connected as its display.
For step-by-step pairing and reconnect advice, read the setup guide. For a video call, see the second-screen Zoom setup.
